BSA Troop 87...since 1965
Welcome to our friendly troop, where we work while still having fun! In Troop 87, we help you to advance as fast as you can. Some troops like to have fun and do no work, while others are all about work and no fun, but Troop 87 is all for both. You will be warmly welcomed at Troop 87. We have kind and hardworking boys and girls that can help you start your BSA career and assist you along the way.
The goal of Troop 87 is to offer scouts a safe and non-threatening environment for their growth and development into leaders of the 21st century. We have scouts from all the area communities - Big Flats, Horseheads, Elmira, Corning, and more. We are a growing troop of about 35 scouts ages 10-17.
During the school year, we typically meet every Tuesday at the Big Flats Presbyterian church from 6:30 to 8 PM although locations, dates, and times can vary depending on the planned activities. If you would like to attend a meeting or have questions, please use the Contact Us feature.
